On the 24th of August in 2024, Cr Rhona Garad put forward to Council:
The parents and Mount Hira College have requested that a school crossing supervisor be enlisted for the section of Hutton and Perry Road, Keysborough due to this being a major road with children crossing it. Can you please advise what is required to put this in place?
Council agreed to this process and in early October, it was advised that Council was in the process of conducting a survey to see how many children are using Perry Rd before and after school. This will be completed in four to six weeks time and is a requirement as part of the process to get a school crossing supervisor.
