My story

As a child of Vietnamese migrants, I truly treasure the multicultural community in which I was raised in. I’ve lived in the City of Greater Dandenong my entire life and I work full-time in Dandenong South. With a business degree and a career in marketing in the manufacturing industry, I know how to strategise, plan, and execute.

I am no stranger to hard work

Prior to putting my full energy towards campaigning, I was working additional hours on top of my full-time work while also being an active State Emergency Service volunteer. Working hard and working for the community is second nature to me.

Why climate action is important to me

Our city is one of the most disadvantaged local government areas in Melbourne and it’s also one of the hottest. With each year, we are seeing an increasing frequency of extreme weather events like heatwaves, storms, and flooding. As a SES volunteer, I see firsthand the lack of readiness to deal with extreme weather events. Funding council action and funding the support and education of our residents to deal with climate change is not a luxury – it is a critical social justice and health issue. I am pleased to share I have been endorsed by the Greens.
